I'm a data engineer, researcher, and dad. This is my corner of the internet where I build things — educational games for my kids, developer tools that scratch my own itch, and deep-dive blog posts that explain complex topics from first principles.

Researcher IV at a National Laboratory with 7+ years of experience building high-performance computing pipelines for TB-scale energy data. I'm the #1 contributor to BuildStockBatch (large-scale residential energy simulation orchestration) and the creator of BuildStockQuery (analytics engine for building energy datasets).
